I am a Master Gardener who is part of a team overseeing a demonstration garden in Arlington, Virginia. We recently renovated our the herb section of the garden and made space for two new benches. After research, we settled on two Cabbage Hill Garden Benches from The Charming Bench Company. Assembling this is a two person job. The parts are very well crafted and fit together perfectly. My only suggestion for improvement would be to include the special screwdriver head bit required for the eight 4” screws. The screws have a weird square hole that requires the right square shaped driver to fasten them. Not an allen wrench shape, a perfectly square hole shape. In my gazillion tools I happened to have this but most people won’t.

I love the brown top/black legs look. Seems very high quality. It is a little smaller than traditional picnic tables. Not too hard to put together but I did need two different screws as the ones sent did not fit.

Nice chain. Will see how the stainless steel holds up at the beach. I wish the set came with the anchor bolts and swivel. Had to go to hardware store to get those.

We have only had this chair for a couple of weeks, but our initial thoughts are that it is very comfortable and extremely well-made. We are looking forward to years of comfort and enjoyment while using this product. The chair is very well designed, was easy to put together, and is very sturdy. I give this product a full five star rating!

We received the item and were very pleased with it. As we assembled It we discovered it was missing 2 pieces 🫤. We were able to find fairly close pieces of wood to match those pieces. We love the item though!! Very nicely done. Thank you

This swing replaced a 30 year old moon valley swing. We ordered custom legs (longer) to accommodate for the slope where we place it. It came quickly and in perfect shape. Wonderful service!

This table is great. It replaced one we had in a tight space that seated only 4 people. Now we seat 8 with comfort. The bench setup, which allows people to slide in and out without stepping over the bench, is perfect. It is sturdy and attractive, and better suited to our intense Arizona sun than other options. And it was super-easy to set up. Our only difficulty was having to make some minor modifications to get the umbrella pole to fit through the metal bracing on the legs.

Just perfect for the spot! I kind of thought the top would be a little taller, but I don’t think anyone will hit their head on it. It’s very nice. I just need to decide if I want to stain it to match my grandpa’s 100 year old swing or just let it darken on its own…

I love it. It is well constructed. The edges are nicely rounded. It came so quickley.

The bench is quite lovely and sturdy. Heavier than we would have thought. We girls couldn’t complete the assembly, we needed Dad to come drill through a knot hole. But we like it!

This is our second bench . . my husband rebuilt the first one / weathered due to age for another spot in our yard. . the new one is out by the bird bath and blue spruce . . a quiet resting place. Ours are red . . both delivered quite quickly and put together with no problem. Just the right size (smaller) and very comfortable including the back. Glad it was available.
