If this is repetitive, please forgive me. The written (paper) instructions for assembling the chair are terrible, the worst for any domestically-produced product I have ever seen. The narrative and photos are both unhelpful; I challenge anyone to put together this chair using just the instructions given. You would be much better off just trying to figure it out yourself, as I expecet many people do. The YouTube video is better, and gives you enough visuals to figure things out and make it work. But it omits so many obvious questions that someone who had not assembled this chair before would have, that it is maddening. It would ahve been so easy to do a focus group of one person - just give him the chair and the instructions and video, and listen to his comments. But obviously no one bothered to do this.

Our wonderful son in law of 24 years loves a comfortable recliner. This Hamilton recliner totally fits the bill!!! He absolutely LOVES this recliner and was so surprised that we purchased it just for him… and of course WE enjoy it otherwise. This is the third year in a row that we’ve found the outdoor furniture from a company that cares about quality!!! It would be a waste of time to look beyond The Charming Bench Company!!!

The unit arrived well packaged and protected. It was relatively easy to assemble, I liked the method of assembly, the pre-build of the undercarriage and then the fit to the pre-assembled side frames and pre-assembled seat achieved both a dimensional accuracy with a substantial structural integrity. The youtube video is a must view for the casual diy aficionado. The product is not inexpensive but I believe this bench could last a lifetime. It is both substantial and classic.

The bench looks exactly like the picture. I am really happy with it. There was a few missing parts but I called and within the next day the had sent me out the parts that were missing. Thanks again.

I saw this boot jack while I was shopping for other things and remembered that we had one just like it at my parent’s house. Never knew it was a cricket! Looks cool and I appreciate the communication from Charming Bench when shipping was temporarily delayed. Thanks!

The bench company is aptly named. This Chelsea 3- seater bench is quite charming. And sturdy! Very well made. It was not too difficult to assemble but you need at least 2 people to do so. It was exactly what I was looking for.

This stool and beyond my expectations! Everything was fantastic including the delivery. I surprised my husband with it and he was very impressed how well made it is and is loving it.

My husband put this together himself, and he did say it was hard to join it together alone but he managed. Took a couple hours on his own I think to assemble, and hang.
I absolutely love it. The rounded edges are comfortable. The whole thing is comfortable. We did learn to hang it leaning back or you end up sliding out of it if it's completely level.
Would buy this again....but it'll probably last forever so won't need to!

This will become my vendor of choice. Easy instructions. Everything was wrapped expertly. Quality of materials were outstanding. Best of industry.

Samples received quickly, very helpful identifying my color choice, however I have not found a table style that will work for me. Thank you for helping me make my decision.

As always, the craftsmanship is beautifully done. This love seat rocker is comfortable and sturdy. Definitely will be enjoyed for years. Love the care and detail. Wide enough to sit three people. Very easy to assemble with clear instructions. We love it and see it as a work of art!

I ordered 2 benches and 3 planter boxes that arrived packed very well in a mix of styrofoam and cardboard and plastic wrapping. There was a lot of packing garbage, but as a result, there were no damaged items and as advertised for color and quality. I wasn't able to assemble the planter bench right away due to very hot weather, but eventually got benches leveled and planted. I also took time looking for inserts for the planter boxes that fit per recommendations to keep boxes as protected as possible. Everything has worked out well and I am very satisfied with the quality of this product and would highly recommend it.

swing arrived earlier than predicted. clear instructions, easy assembly, sturdy and well engineered for proper interface and hole alignment. attractive knot-free wood grain. longevity: yet to be determined but promising prospect.

I am a Master Gardener who is part of a team overseeing a demonstration garden in Arlington, Virginia. We recently renovated our the herb section of the garden and made space for two new benches. Assembling this is a two person job. The parts are very well crafted and fit together perfectly. My only suggestion for improvement would be to include the special screwdriver head bit required for the eight 4” screws. The screws have a weird square hole that requires the right square shaped driver to fasten them. Not an allen wrench shape, a perfectly square hole shape. In my gazillion tools I happened to have this but most people won’t.

I love the brown top/black legs look. Seems very high quality. It is a little smaller than traditional picnic tables. Not too hard to put together but I did need two different screws as the ones sent did not fit.
