    Painted or stained yellow pine is perfect for covered porches or when kept under a cover and requires some maintenance over time.  Painted or stained yellow pine is NOT recommended for extended direct exposure to rain, snow, heat, or moisture that can cause rot.  For those applications, choose a Pressure Treated Pine, Western Red Cedar, or Recycled Plastic product instead.

    Everything about this transaction was easy and satisfying. We found the company online and ordered the 6 ft yellow pine picnic table with detached benches. The Website had all the info we needed and the table arrived promptly - sooner than we expected. The wood is beautiful and high quality, as described. My husband, who is not a skilled carpenter, applied a coat of stain, and then put the table and benches together by himself with no problems. We are now enjoying it on our deck! I would definitely purchase from the Charming Bench Company again, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for high quality, beautifully designed outdoor furniture.

    We were SO pleased with the solid-ness and look of both the table and benches; I ordered a fan-backed bench to match as well, and will be ordering another. Lovely. The assemblage very easy, came in large pieces, and again, solid look and feel. Most of all, this company was very accommodating, and actually spoke to another very kind human on the phone who assured me of swift delivery, and both times, they delivered on time. We are planning a gathering at the end of this month and needed table and bench, and felt they listened and delivered. So pleased with goods and service: Charming!
