    Painted or stained yellow pine is perfect for covered porches or when kept under a cover and requires some maintenance over time.  Painted or stained yellow pine is NOT recommended for extended direct exposure to rain, snow, heat, or moisture that can cause rot.  For those applications, choose a Pressure Treated Pine, Western Red Cedar, or Recycled Plastic product instead.

    Well made picnic table set

    This is a well-designed, well-constructed picnic table. It is sturdy, comfortable, and cute. The 4' length is difficult to find on the market, but is the perfect size for our screened porch in the mountains. My only complaint is that the stained option which we choose is not really a turn-key option. We tried using it as is, but lint, dirt and dust all catch in the stained wood and stay trapped there. The finish is ever-so-slightly tacky/rough, making it difficult to clean off with a rag as lint pieces of the rag get stuck in it. We plan to clear coat the piece in a glossy urethane to make it easy to clean and have a more finished feel. Wish there had been a clear coat option to go over the stain - we would have happily paid for it. All in all though very nice set and very happy with it otherwise.

    Excellent product

    We are very happy with our picnic table and benches. Extremely sturdy and well made and easy to assemble. It was a little shorter than I anticipated but this was easily remedied by adding a single bench at each end. It is difficult to find quality picnic tables without the benches attached; I definitely recommend these picnic tables!

    Closer to heavenly

    There’s a take-out near me with these 1/2 size picnic tables outside and I have a small shady outside deck needing someplace to eat, hangout, play cards, watch fireflies, or not.
    And so so I found your site! I am happy to report that your tables are better than the ones that started me looking for them, having wider seats and no hole as the roof works fine;)
