Handcrafted in Montana from durable, lightweight "dead standing" Lodgepole Pine, the Glacier Country Log Glider is reminiscent of the Lodge of the Rockies, circa 1900, and features a design that allows for gentle, low-effort gliding and generations of trouble-free use. The unique dark, rich hues of this glider is achieved by our artisans using old-fashioned draw knives to remove the outer bark while leaving the inner stratum cambium layer in tact. Each piece is signed by the artisan who makes it.
All Glacier Country themed products are finished with three coats of premium-grade exterior stain in a professional eight step process, and is backed with a 20 year limited warranty guarantee against all manufacturer defects. Montana Woodworks is the single largest and most trusted manufacturer of handcrafted rustic furnishings in the nation.

|Product Note:||You may notice a range of natural slit-like cracks to larger/richer cracks that run the length of the log to the heart of the wood. This normal process is known as "checking" and does not affect the structural performance or integrity of the piece. These cracks add character and enhance the natural beauty of the piece.|

2 years ago I purchased a glider which wouldn't stay together, wasn't very sturdy, etc. This year, I sprung the extra money and bought this glider, along with the matching single-seat chair glider and rocker. I know I'll have them for years. They went together quite simply (I'm a 63 year old woman and I put them together myself) and are quite comfortable. The only thing I might change is the depth of the 2-seat glider; it's quite short. I'm 6' tall, mostly legs, and it runs short in depth. But I know it will hold me, and glides quite nicely and quietly.
Well made, great finish, easy to assemble, supportive manufacturer.
