I bought 6 of these. They are expensive. They are beautiful but each one takes a commitment of a few hours to put together depending on how often you do this kind of thing. I wish I knew how the wood will hold up over the years but I will have to wait and see. It says Red cedar but it also says Teak as the kind of weed. I think it is a combination of woods pressed. It says you only need a Phillips No. 2. but that is misleading. A simple $20 battery operated screwdriver is essential. There are over 100 screws to put in. The Customer Service was EXCELLENT. A Real Person will answer. Thank you Scott! The Instructions could be better. The pre-cut wood was consistent except for the last four pieces of decorative wood that gets nailed in at the very end. They were of different lengths and were not long enough. Some of the pre-drilled holes were not pushed completely through so be patient and have a good hammer. After they were all put together I felt like someone should send me a certificate of some kind! I did it! Success!
I plan to grow lettuce, cilantro, parsley and onions. So easy to assemble! (In 71) All arts fit snug, and best of all NO MISSING PARTS!!
This raised garden box is very sturdy and nice. It takes an hour or two to put together but it is easy to understand and looks great! It is exactly what we wanted.
This box was designed so well, even I could assemble it. Even better, however, are its looks and functionality. I have terribl back issues and this elevated box allows me to continue planting things: my herbs, flowers, strawberries. I get to enjoy all of the wonderful parts of gardening without the aches and pains of being on my knees. Everyone who comes to visit oo's and ahhh's over my planter boxes and has to know where I got them. They are a bit pricey, but the value is in the quality of materials, exceptional design, sturdy assembly and good looks. How often do we get to feel that way about our purchases these days? Five stars!
