Due to the variation of color and knots in natural wood products, each lumber piece is unique. Because of this, finished products may differ visually from the image used to represent this product.

I'm glad I read the comments about this being a total kit with no assembly pre done. Would have preferred less of a project but hired my neighbor to build it for me. The end result is well worth it. I ordered to used as a privacy screen with the Rosedale arbor.
Please understand that this is a kit and must be totally assembled. Having said that, I am very pleased with finished product and enjoyed the process. The cedar pieces are nice and straight. From a design standpoint, I do wish that the pieces that were used to create the channel that holds the lattice in place were the full length of the inside frame (this will probably make sense only if you have put one of these together!) You need a hammer, screwdriver, wood glue, and a few hours. Power tools, if available, could speed up the process. I did not hinge my two panels together but mounted separately to a brick wall with L-brackets. It is far nicer than anything I have seen in local garden centers and big box stores. I have received several compliments on the finished product. At first, I thought it a little expensive (and I purchased on sale) but I do think it was a good value for me as I do not have a source for the wonderful western cedar or the saws that I would need to rip/cut the pieces (and I would not have done as good a job!). I am actually thinking about purchasing another one.
When I read the description it said assembly required but for the price I figured it was just putting the two sections together. No. TOTAL assembly is required. So you are getting about $50 worth of material and the rest of what you are paying is for the convenience of having the boards pre cut.
Very easy to assemble--Thank you
