Carlton Bench

The Carlton Bench is the largest bench in our wood furniture collection, perfect for a generous veranda, open piazza or garden accent. The design has smooth curved armrests and a latticed backrest that keep this substantial bench feeling light and open. With overall dimensions of 72 1/2 inches wide x 26 3/4 inches deep x 37 1/2 inches high, the Carlton Bench can be a park bench, outdoor café seat, or garden focal point. All of our wood benches are made of sustainably harvested Eucalyptus Grandis wood with a Natural Oil finish. To ensure the long life of unpainted furniture, reapply oil as needed to preserve the color and finish of the wood. We also recommend bringing wood furniture indoors or storing under a waterproof cover during extreme weather months. • Generously proportioned, our 6-foot Carlton bench is one of our largest seating options, with overall dimensions of 72 1/2 inches wide x 26 3/4 inches deep x 37 1/2 inches high. Seat depth measures 16 inches.
• A classic English garden bench style, with sturdy solid legs balanced with an openwork back and slatted seat. Gently curving armrests give this large bench a graceful profile.
• Made of Eucalyptus grandis wood that is sustainably harvested and finished with a natural oil finish. Maintaining the finish with periodic reapplication of oil will preserve the deep reddish wood color, and ensure longevity. Left to the elements, the wood will naturally age to silvery grey, as will teak, cedar or acacia. We recommend protecting furniture indoors or with a cover during extreme weather months.
• All of our Eucalyptus furniture is shipped flat, with brass hardware and simple assembly instructions provided.
