The Cabbage Hill Garden Bench is a great addition to your porch, patio, or garden. This beautiful cedar bench can be finished with a high-quality oil weather stain and is ready to go outdoors. Our products are made of clear, kiln-dried Western Red Cedar.

Your guests will love the comfortable contoured seat designed for prolonged seating. The finish work and details are incredible, as in all of the Wood Country designs. The back slats are thick 1.5″x1.5″ and are screwed and glued in place. Wood Country designs and manufactures a complete line of furniture that matches the bench, including chairs, tables, swings, end tables, and flat benches.

The Cabbage Hill Garden Bench is especially well-suited as a memorial bench because of it's thick construction, designed to last for the long term. The top rail of the backrest is 3" tall, large enough to place a memorial plaque of your choice.

Natural Color Variations: Cedar in its natural unfinished state has a richly textured tactile grain combined with a glowing palette of warm, mellow tones ranging from light amber to deep honey brown. Due to the variation of color and knots in natural wood products, each piece of lumber is unique. Because of this, finished products may differ visually from the image used to represent this product.

The unit arrived well packaged and protected. It was relatively easy to assemble, I liked the method of assembly, the pre-build of the undercarriage and then the fit to the pre-assembled side frames and pre-assembled seat achieved both a dimensional accuracy with a substantial structural integrity. The youtube video is a must view for the casual diy aficionado. The product is not inexpensive but I believe this bench could last a lifetime. It is both substantial and classic.

I am a Master Gardener who is part of a team overseeing a demonstration garden in Arlington, Virginia. We recently renovated our the herb section of the garden and made space for two new benches. Gorgeous wood. Beautifully constructed.

A friend assembled this bench for me and said it was easier than he thought it would be. The customer service throughout the buying process was great, and the bench was such a wonderful surprise in that the colors of the wood and overall construction are so beautiful. We set it by a beloved hiking trail spot in my husband’s memory. Perfect piece.
